About APAR

For more than three years Asia-Pacific Aerospace Report has been bringing the industry the breaking news concerning airlines, defence and aviation industries from around the region in Asia Pacific’s only weekly digital news magazine.

Over this time Asia-Pacific Aerospace Report has been first with a number of ground-breaking and sometimes controversial stories.

It has provided in-depth analysis of major issues in a succinct format brought to you by editor Peter Ricketts and his team of seasoned correspondents from around the region.

Peter Ricketts has specialized in aerospace and defence reporting since 1974 when he started writing for Australian Flying magazine.

In 1981 he took over as editor of the publication and revamped it to cover all aspects of the Australian aviation industry.

Peter then followed a spell as a correspondent for Melbourne based Aircraft magazine the then long running standard of Australian aviation publications.

He then moved to Singapore as a reporter for the original and very successful Asian Aviation magazine. He also spent time as a regional correspondent for Commuter & Regional Airline News International, Interavia, Janes’ newsletters and Aviation International News.

Peter’s latest publication, Asia-Pacific Aerospace Report, is directed solely at aerospace managers, executives and decision makers throughout the region.
